It’s a mandatory part of applications for the 482 Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS / Skills in Demand) visa, the 186 Employer Nomination Scheme visa, and the 494 Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional visa. Transitional cases under the 187 Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme also require it.

Research if any employment Awards apply to the position and capture Award Rates.
Research and Capture up to four 'Expert Guides' relating to salaries for the position.
Research and Capture up to six recent 'Live Job Advertisements' relating to the position.
Summarise all the 'Expert Guides' and 'Live Advertisements' that were captured.
Itemise and show how the 'Annual Market Salary Rate" is calculated from the summaries.
Determine if the nominated Position & Salary meet the necessary visa requirements.
Supply a numbered Appendix containing clear copies of all proof documents in the report.
Consolidate all the above information into a professional 16 - 20 page report.
Forward the pdf report together with the LMT report - (or sooner, if required).
